On this page
The shanti meaning fits in one word: peace. Namaste and om are the two words people most often look up with it, many of them because of yoga. Here is what each of the three means, and how each one is written in Devanagari, the script on our word prints.
What does shanti mean?
Shanti means peace. In Devanagari it is written शान्ति. It is a Sanskrit word, and it is one of the 23 words in our Ek Shabda (one word) collection, where it stands alone on the print with a touch of saffron.
For our founder, the word is a short reminder: always strive for peace.

Namaste is a greeting, and also a spiritual gesture. In Devanagari it is written नमस्ते.
What does om mean?

Which of the three is a print?
Of the three, only shanti is a print in our shop today: the Shanti print. If you like single words, all 23 Ek Shabda words and their meanings are in one post, and our Sanskrit quotes post has longer lines.
