Your legal guarantee rights
Legal guarantee. Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods do not match the description, or do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer free repair or free replacement, and in some cases a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code, which leads to europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees, or ask the seller. What to do if you receive non-conforming goods: 1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue. 2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see the GARAN label, representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.

Questions, answered

When will my order arrive?
Every print is made to order. Most orders arrive within 10 working days. A few places take longer: up to 15 working days to Cyprus, Malta and Ireland. Your product page shows the expected dates for your country, updated every night. Delivery is €5,95, and free from €40.

Nothing waits in a warehouse. Your print is made after you order, then posted, so it takes 3 to 6 working days to Austria.
Do frames come included?
The Fine Art Matte Print is sent unframed and fits a standard frame from any shop. Prefer to hang it straight away? Choose the Wood-Framed Fine Art Print or the Canvas Print and it arrives ready to hang.
How accurate are the colours?
A little variation between a bright screen and paper is normal. Our matte prints are on 200 gsm paper, and we proof every design.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo of the damage within 30 days of delivery and we replace the print or refund you in full. Returns are free for 30 days.

Nothing waits in a warehouse. Your print is made after you order, then posted, so it takes 3 to 6 working days to Austria.
Can I return it?
You have 30 days to return a standard order for a full refund, and we cover the return shipping. Email support@jhilkestudio.com and we guide you through it.
Is checkout secure?
Payments are encrypted and processed through Shopify's secure checkout. Card and the local payment methods for your country show at checkout.
What are the Naksha maps drawn from?
Every Naksha print is built from open data. Elevation is NASA SRTM, the rivers come from HydroRIVERS, the night lights from NASA's Suomi NPP satellite (2016), and the border is Nepal's official 2020 map from Open Data Nepal. Each print names its data and credits at the foot of the sheet.
What are the three Naksha formats, and how does each arrive?
The Fine Art Matte Print is the print alone on 200 gsm matte paper, unframed, and ships in a flat or triangular box. The Wood-Framed Fine Art Print comes mounted in a wooden frame with a plexiglass front, ready to hang: black wood on the Ink, Terracotta and Nepal at Night prints, natural wood on the Paper ones. The Canvas Print is stretched over a slim wooden frame with the background colour running round the sides, and arrives ready to hang in one piece.

Nothing waits in a warehouse. Your print is made after you order, then posted, so it takes 3 to 6 working days to Austria.
What sizes do Naksha prints come in?
Every design comes in three sizes: Small 30 × 40 cm, Medium 50 × 70 cm and Large 70 × 100 cm. Eight Peaks hangs portrait; the other designs are landscape. Naksha prints start at €29,95 for a Small Fine Art Matte Print.

Hi, I’m Amrit

I moved from Nepal to Europe and started Jhilke Studio to make the prints I wanted on my own walls. Every design starts from real data or a real line of Nepali or Sanskrit. If I can’t tell you where it came from, it doesn’t go on sale.
